These shoes were made by Puma, circa 1984. The Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory was founded by Rudolph and Adolph Dassler, in Herzogenaurach, Germany 

Shortly after completing his training, on 1 July 1923, Adi brought him into his young business. Adolf Dassler and Rudolf Dassler joined hands to start a new company, by name Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory (Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik). Complementing each other- These two brothers complemented each other as Adolf Dassler was an excellent shoemaker and a quiet craftsman whereas Rudolf Dassler was an excellent marketer, salesman and an extrovert. 2018-10-01 In 1923 his boisterous older brother Rudolf joined the business.

In 1924, Rudolf and his brother Adolf "Adi" Dassler had jointly formed the company Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik (Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory). The relationship between the two brothers deteriorated until the two agreed to split in 1948, forming two separate entities, Adidas and Puma. Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory transformed into Adidas after the brothers split in 1949. They went their separate ways and Adi renamed the company as ‘Adidas’ after him. Adidas became a household name after helping the German national football team to win the 1954 World Cup final against Hungary with its screw-in-studs lightweight football shoes.
